Our History:
The Pink Ribbon Symposium was founded in 2008 by Linda Sylvester, MD and Cynthia Anderson, MD to promote learning about breast cancer, survivorship, good health and wellness issues through a yearly interactive symposium where attendees can ask questions of medical experts.

The Mission:
The Mission of the annual Pink Ribbon Symposium, a non-profit organization organized in 2008, is dedicated to educating the Northeast Florida community on recent advances and related topics in the detection, treatment and survivorship of breast cancer patients as well as the understanding of the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
