Pink Ribbon Symposium
5th Annual Butterfly 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Survivors Walk
presented by Baptist Health honoring survivors on National Cancer Survivors Day
ORANGE PARK, Fla. –The 5th Annual Butterfly 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Survivors Walk presented by Baptist Health will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 8:00 am at the Town of Orange Park.
The 5K run/walk was created by the Pink Ribbon Symposium and is a sanctioned National Cancer Survivors Day event. Along with the run/walk and 1 mile survivors walk, there will be a butterfly release with local cancer survivors who will be collectively honored. The expo area will include sponsors, vendors and a survivors’ tent hosted by the survivors group Hope Floats. All 5K participants will receive a commemorative butterfly medal.
Event sponsors include Baptist Health, Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, Myriad, VITAS, Brooks Rehabilitation, First Coast YMCA, Props Photo Booths, Best Leaf, LLC.

The Pink Ribbon Symposium, a non-profit organization founded in 2007 with the mission to educate and inform of the most recent advancements in breast cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options, to address issues of living beyond breast cancer, including increasing awareness of general good health and wellness, and to empower women and men about their healthcare options.
